I know it's been a really long time since I posted anything. I've been in Iraq for almost four months now. I haven't been taking any photos or updating the blog because there are a lot of things I can't take pictures of or things that I can't talk about. Let's just say, I'm alive and doing well. LOL.
It's been a very interesting time here. I've made friends and had some experiences that I could've done without, but such is life. I've gotten sick here a couple of times, once from a bug-bite and most recently a viral sore throat. The weather is mostly nice here, as many of you know, I enjoy the heat, and it's been nice and warm here. The one sad thing is that with all the friends I've made, most of them leave this summer, so I will have to start all over again... :( Good thing I make friends easy! Lol.
I've also gotten to dance here, which has been fun, I even ended up DJ-ing one night...let me tell you, I DO NOT aspire to be a DJ! LOL. It was fun but an experience I hope to NOT repeat. I'm trying to stay busy and the work is interesting and good. I work with great people and that makes all the difference in the world. I appreciate everyone's prayers for me...please keep them coming! :) Love you all and miss you tons!

So basically you are in a situation that is, "if I tell you I will have to kill you!" (Top Gun) kind of thing. We totally understand we are just grateful to hear that you are alive and kind of well. We love and pray for you always.
